Anthony Constantinou | Anthony Constantinou CEO CWM FX says Body Hair transplantation (BHT) is a process that start gaining appreciation in the early 2000s. This process was originally invented by Dr. Ray Woods, of Australia, in the 1990s. Now, there are only some doctors worldwide performing this modern technique for the treatment of hair loss. Body Hair Transplant is not used widely because, like Cole Isolation Technique, it also requires special instrument which is very time consuming and has given unpredictable result. Results are typically not on equality with scalp hair defers but BHT can offer a feasible option for those, whose conventional donor hair supply is worn-out.
It can be difficult to calculate who will be having major improvements from BHT process and who will not. Transplanting the lower densities of hair is inclined to have better growth rate of hair in some person. So, it will be better to first take the Cole Isolation Technique and then turn towards Body Hair Transplant as a last resort.
Body hair should be called off as “filler hair”, which are designed to help for increasing the density of a scalp hair. Before going for long sessions, we should try at least 50 to 500 body hair grafts test cases to see what kind of growth defer the patient will complete. This test permits the patient to assess their results and take doctor's opinion on further procedure. Body hair transplants tend to produce fine result i.e. some people get satisfied with this treatment, but, some people doesn’t find it suitable. Although unexpected, this process might be a solution for men whose conventional scalp contributor hair is worn-out and give some hope to the person who might feel all is lost.
